Welcome to the Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM)!
A crucial capability of the initial design enabling data transparency is a centralized repository of cryptographic products that been approved for use listed in the CJCSN 6510 in processing classified data as well as real-time data for products that are currently undergoing Type-1 certification process. The repository provides stakeholders at all levels with timely, actionable data enabling better insight into the overall state and health of products that have been entrusted to protect national security. Below are some of the key features included in this module:
1. Customized filters to allow for searching by key words, categories, and product attributes such as vulnerabilities, algorithms and cease key dates which can prove invaluable in quickly and easily identifying products for cryptographic modernization and other critical initiatives.
2. Searchable real-time data for current certification efforts to provide insight as to what is in the pipeline, product capabilities, status, and expected timelines for certification.
3. May aid in maximization of cryptographic product usage across DoD and the IC and potentially reducing duplication of effort and/or development of duplicate solutions.
4. The ability to create customized reports.
5. Standardized format for data to be collected, stored, and reported.
The tool is a web-based platform containing data related to the DoD cryptographic portfolio that will be searchable using filters on various data attributes. It refines the depth of asset tracking to incorporate MILDEP external data such as quantities sold, clients (USA, USAF, USMC, USN, SOCOM), and mission category (Space, NC2, C4I, ISR, etc.) using data ingested from Governments, vendors, and DoD databases. This provides MILDEP and Federal Agency data owners to properly identify valid sources of CCI product inventory data and paths to access required data to perform real-time analysis to produce Mission Impact Analysis.
