Welcome to the Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM)!

Across the Department of Defense (DoD), there is a need for a standardized, enterprise-driven capability to automatically provision Joint Deployable Kits to support Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) on United States (US) networks. These deployable systems provide resilient information sharing by gathering network and host information for the purposes of identifying potential adversarial presence within a target network.

Secure Enterprise Engineering has designed a hardware/software system that is flexible and will meet all of the needs of the Cyber Warfighter.  We have used our experience with working with Unified Platform and CNMF to gather use cases and then to build use cases and hardware that meets the needs on the Cyber Battlefield.

The automated software provisioning software, DISTANT ROOK, provides a capability to rapidly configure and install the numerous software packages required to prepare for Off-DoDIN Hunt kit infrastructure for Defensive Operations. Unified Platform serves as the authoritative host for storage and download of the required software packages and automation scripts. By extending the DISTANT ROOK Phase II Prototype initially built to focus on CNMF Off-DoDIN Hunt kits to also address the software automation needs of On-DoDIN Defensive Cyber Operations kits, the Unified Platform will serve as the authoritative source for provisioning and deploying all Joint Deployable Kits across the Joint Cyber Warfighting Architecture.
