Welcome to the Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM)!
Cloudflare Remote Browser Isolation (RBI) delivers a native browsing experience, enhanced by the security of browser isolation solutions. With sessions running in sandboxed environments across Cloudflare’s Global Network in more than 300 data centers, connections are established within milliseconds of end users.
Unlike traditional methods, Cloudflare’s patented approach involves sending a package of draw commands enabled by Network Vector Rendering rather than DOM reconstruction or pixel steaming, ensuring compatibility across all HTML5 browsers. This also enables our solution to support any Chromium based browser including mobile.
This method enhances both security and user experience, positioning RBI as a critical component to implementing Zero Trust architectures by isolating potential web threats from devices and networks reducing the risk of compromise.
We will focus this briefing on our solutions’ usability and enhanced security capabilities through its comprehensive integration with the Cloudflare platform. We will describe in detail how our RBI solution is built and architected, showcase its functionality, and explain the broader impact on achieving the Department’s Zero Trust strategy.
