Welcome to the Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM)!
Zero Trust approach protects the agencies’ assets especially access to data, infrastructure, network, applications, and APIs. With integration of various cloud services IaaS/PaaS/SaaS with the agencies on-prem infrastructure and with other agencies network, establishing a scalable Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA) model is paramount. ZTA cybersecurity framework is centered around the principle of maintaining strict access controls and continuous verification, regardless of whether a user or device is within or outside the network perimeter.
Unlike traditional security models that rely on perimeter-based defenses, ZTA operates on the assumption that threats may already exist within the network. As such, it mandates the verification of every access attempt, regardless of its origin or context. Our ZTA approach is centered around “never trust, always verify”, helps organizations prevent lateral movement by attackers, minimize the impact of potential breaches, and safeguard critical assets. Key components of ZTA include micro-segmentation, identity and access management (IAM), multi-factor authentication (MFA), encryption, and continuous monitoring, all working together to create a robust and adaptive security posture that aligns with the evolving threat landscape.
