Welcome to the Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM)!

As part of DISA’s Harmonize line of Effort, there is a need to leverage and secure software containers. “From strategic plan bottom of page 8. “Containerized Solutions — Leverage industry to increase development and adoption of containerized security solutions, increasing speed to capability and reducing ATO timelines.” RapidFort has developed game changing automated technology that can remove ~80% of the vulnerabilities in software containers improving performance, empowering developers, enhancing performance and the range of technologies that can be use, while reducing ATO timescales. Typically, container hardening takes months, through automation it can now be done in minutes!

RapidFort would like to showcase the technology and provide the results of several DoD Case studies along with presenting the results and data. RapidFort would like to discuss a plan for having this technology deployed within the DoD in an initial pilot study. The company’s eventual goal is to harden all software containers for the DoD by providing the tool as an embedded automated service within all DoD clouds. RapidFort will present a plan for a pilot program and a sequenced phased rollout.

— The benefits to the DOD are:

— Increased developer velocity by ~8% to ~12%

— Reduced vulnerabilities by as much as ~80%

— Reduced patching backlogs by ~90%

— Reduced container image sizes by ~75%

— Improved load times by ~300%

— While using less memory and bandwidth

— Reducing ATO timescales because there is 80% less software to ATO

— Increasing the range of technologies available to expand mission capabilities

RapidFort’s mission is to secure software containers to empower developers to build and deploy awesome secure software rapidly!
