Welcome to the Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM)!
JSP awarded major a Best Value contract for the Commvault enterprise backup and disaster recovery solution that delivers several key features, including the following from the actual RFP:
➢ Enterprise backup/recovery for the entire inventory of virtual and physical servers supporting the JSP and its customer base including block and file data sources.
➢ Data protection for intentional or unintentional modification/deletion combined with a rapid recovery mechanism.
➢ Comprehensive systems management of deployed hardware/software to enable capacity management, customer usage tracking, and detailed performance metrics.
➢ Scalable non-disruptively platform as JSP continues to on-board customers and protect both on-site and cloud-based workloads and data sets.
➢ All disk-based backup system with flash-based storage on-prem with cloud storage capability.
➢ Compatible with existing storage and platform solutions. Four separate enclaves including Un-Classified, Secret, Top Secret and Top Secret – Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS-SCI).
The company’s goal for the TEM is aimed at providing quick overview and awareness of the above, but to greatly expand the additional technical solutions on file storage optimization, eDiscovery, eCompliance, and overall records management and cloud solution integration that is already fully built-in to the deployed solution as basis for HaCC, DHMC, DEOS, and JWCC emerging requirements, such as:
➢ Reduced storage costs and data risk with information lifecycle management
➢ Streamlined cloud migrations and data consolidations
➢ Reduced risk of ransomware on critical and sensitive data
➢ Identification and securing of sensitive data
➢ Management of critical compliance components such as SARs
➢ Efficient, fast and scalable data collection solution
➢ Streamlined data sets for review
➢ Guaranteed trust in the data
Detailed overview of the capabilities will be presented as a fully integrated solution from endpoint to the cloud for data management and data protection with a single interface.
The demonstration platform will be open throughout the presentation and the goal is to present sing dual screens (if possible) the capability quickly but spend more time on the actual demonstration in response to audience engagement to better identify requirements and solutions along the lines of a proof of capability.
The company’s goal is to also learn of specific use cases from the DISA engineering team either in advance or during the presentation to show solutions. The company will also provide insights along an example use case for a major intelligence agency that is underway for end-to-end records management.
