Welcome to the Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM)!
Cape has developed a modular wireless architecture focused on protecting device identity, enabling infrastructure-agnostic roaming, and securing mobile transport across public and private networks. The system addresses critical gaps in telecom-layer security, metadata exposure, and roaming behavior for users operating across contested or commercially provisioned infrastructure. Cape has deployed this architecture with the Navy, Army, and with sensitive units and installations to great effect.
Key components include:
1. Obscura: A mobile capability that rotates IMSI and IMEI identifiers and applies geofence-based network access controls to eliminate persistent selectors
2. Weave: Cape’s roaming control system enabling seamless handover across private 5G, commercial LTE/5G, and satellite/NTN using a single SIM with mission-defined routing logic
3. Strategic MVNO: A U.S.-based, software-defined mobile core that enforces sovereign control of routing, authentication, and metadata
Demonstration Plan:
The majority of the live demonstration will focus on Obscura (obfuscation), including real-time IMSI/IMEI rotation and geofence-aware controls on a Cape-connected device. We will additionally demonstrate operating in Cape’s network management environment. Weave will be presented through a technical walkthrough, supported by visuals and field data from our recent Army demonstration at NetModX 2025.
Cape’s capabilities unify three previously disconnected layers – identity, roaming control, and transport – into a deployable, software-driven mobile infrastructure. Unlike legacy carriers or application-layer tools, Cape provides control at the core and signaling layer, including live IMSI/IMEI rotation, programmable SIM behavior, and a sovereign 3GPP-compliant core operated independently of commercial vendors. This architecture closes key gaps in selector exposure, foreign-core routing, and deterministic roaming – all without requiring custom hardware or mobile OS modification. It is purpose-built for a world where telecom infrastructure is both a communications medium and an intelligence target.
