Welcome to the Technical Exchange Meeting (TEM)!
Cigent Secure Storage ensures the integrity of mission data on devices operating on the edge. An integrated solution of hardware and software technology, Cigent provides layers of protection protecting data-at-rest, while the device is in use, and at end-of-life. Cigent offers a breadth of secure storage solutions to protect edge devices including PCs, Laptops, Servers, External Media, Manned and Unmanned Vehicles, Industrial Control System, and IoT.
Cigent Secure drives have embedded firmware features including Verified Storage Device Sanitization (VSDS), insider threat data access logs, hidden partitions, and FIPS/CSfC compliant and validated firmware. These drives protect sensitive data from unauthorized access and help to track and identify insider threats in an organization.
Additionally, the PBA or Pre-Boot Authentication mechanism provides a means for authentication before the drive is even bootable ensuring that yet another defense in depth layer is addressed. As a large organization using our drives you can have access to Data Defense. This is an Enterprise Management Console to allow admins to monitor and add different protections and security profiles across the various federal organizations.
Cigent secure drives are unique in their special features that go above and beyond anyone else in the self-encrypting drive market. Our firmware enables automatic verifiable erasing (of the entire drive in seconds), command logs to detect insider threats/track data access, and hidden partitions in the drive. These specific features paired with our widely used PBA and Data Defense platforms equates to security unlike others in the market.
